What Are The Table Limits In A Casino On A Cruiseship?
Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009Planning on going on a cruise and would like to know the table limit at the craps & blackjack tables.
Planning on going on a cruise and would like to know the table limit at the craps & blackjack tables.
A very attractive blonde from Dublin arrived and bet twenty-thousand dollars on a single roll of the dice. She said, “I hope you don’t mind, but I feel much luckier when I’m completely nude.”
With that, she stripped from the neck down, rolled the dice and yelled, “Come on baby, Mama needs new clothes!”
As the dice came to a stop, she jumped up and down and >>squealed… “YES!YES! I WON, I WON!”
She hugged each of the dealers and then picked up her winnings and her clothes and quickly departed.
The dealers stared at each other dumbfounded.
Finally, one of them asked, “What did she roll?”
The other answered, “I don’t know - I thought you were watching.”
MORAL OF THE STORY -
Not all Irish are stupid and not all blondes are dumb, but all men are men.
I’ve seen this in movies before such as in the recent hit film “21″ where these supposedly security guards or agents drag casino players into like a backroom if they suspect the player of cheating somehow and beat the crap out of the person. How come they’re allowed to do that without getting arrested or anything?
hi,
im thinking of starting my own business im very interested in poker, blackjack roulette craps etc starting very small
and i was just wondering what are the uk laws like for home casino’s?
thanks.
always bet against the shooter. you have a huge advantage ….in a casino if the shooter rolls a 12 on the come out roll it is a tie…………in street craps 12 is a win. about a 3% advantage
I am going to Las Vegas in a few weeks and I am a beginner at the table games. I want to try out craps after playing the free online casinos. Where are the best places for a beginner to go that has good odds and cheaper minimum bets? I prefer to go to places on the Strip or downtown.
Thanks!
The 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x and in some places 100x that you speak of is the maximum amount of odds that you can bet on a Pass Line bet. An odds bet is placed behind your original Pass Line bet. It’s not an advertised bet (no markings to indicate it is a bet that you can make) and coincidentally it’s the best bet as far as house advantage is concerned.
Here are some examples….
You place $5 on the Pass Line…..
The most you can put behind your Pass Line bet (1.41% house advantage) for
2x - $10 (.57% house advantage)
5x - $25 (.33% house advantage)
10x - $50 (.18% house advantage)
100x - $500 (.02% house advantage)
The house advantage listed is provided you take the full odds amount behind the line.
How much you win is directly proportional to what the point is when you are betting the Pass Line.
If the point is 6 or 8, the odds are 6 to 5 behind the line, meaning you will win $6 for each $5 wagered behind the line.
If the point is 5 or 9, the odds are 3 to 2 behind the line, meaning you will win $3 for each $2 wagered behind the line.
If the point is 4 or 10, the odds are 2 to 1 behind the line, meaning you will win $2 for each $1 wagered behind the line.
You can remove, decrease or increase (as long as it’s under the maximum) your odds bet at any time during the roll BUT you cannot remove or decrease your Pass Line bet. You can increase it though.
Currently the only casino in Las Vegas offering 100x odds behind the line is Casino Royale on the Strip. Less than a dozen in Vegas offer 10x odds.
Betting the full odds does mathmatically offer the best bet in the casino but a few losses in a row can add up quickly if you are betting $500 or even $50.
I would like to find a casino that has $1 or $2 min. bets on craps preferably on or in walking distance of the strip in Vegas. Any suggestions? Preferably at night during a weekend.
Please only reply if you’re a local or have been to Vegas recently.
I’m based in luton but don’t mind travelling to play it. Just come back from Vegas and it is by far the best Casino game!
